feelings....

if i had known the kind of crazies that are here in new zealand before i got here.... well I probably still would have come, but still.. tonight was wacky.
The "Talent Quest" was tonight, which was basically a talent show. There were some normal acts, people playing guitar, singing, dances... but then there was also a little insanity. This one RA Austin did interpretive dance to bohemian rhapsody.... in a g string and flesh colored tights and it was hysterical. One guy sang a bunch of sappy love songs (backstreet boys, enrique) wearing an alfalfa like outfit. My friend/ friend's flatmate Matt, sang a song and played guitar while wearing just his silver undies. Two other guys sang in pasted on chest hair and fake moustaches as the band deja voodoo metal... a song about feelings.... "feeling on your tits, feeling on your ass, feeling your mouth on my cock" - it was truly moving. People are CRAZY here... so many people just did ridiculous things... and lots of guys sing here, its not weird to do so...

also, tonight when I went out i saw a man with a mike on the side of street singing, while pretending to play guitar. as in air guitar. as in there was no guitar. ooooh you crazy people.

I went out to a few bars tonight... play and red square, full of beautiful people (everyone's beautiful here) and i went home early. There was however, bacardi razz at red square, which made me sooo happy!

Word to the Ladies: So many hot guys here in NZ, like, an above average number. Also, an above average number of mullets and rat tails... I don't know, apparently, white trash is really IN here.

I don't really like going out to bars here. I'm not (most likely, unless I'm really f-in wasted or temporarily not-myself) gonna hook up with anyone, and everyone's so pretty and thin and well-dressed here I just feel disgusting... But I also don't wanna stay home and just go on the internet every night, or just watch tv, I feel like that will be depressing as well... I'll have t figure something out.
